Cian Ducrot Wins First Grammy for Songwriting

Cian Ducrot Wins First Grammy for SongwritingCork singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot has claimed his first Grammy Award for co-writing SZA’s chart-topping track Saturn, which won Best R&B Song at the 2025 ceremony in Los Angeles.

Taking to Instagram, Ducrot shared his disbelief, calling the win “unreal” as he celebrated another milestone in his skyrocketing career.

The Irish artist’s journey has been nothing short of meteoric. His debut album Victory topped charts in Ireland and the UK, amassing over 801 billion streams and producing hits like All For You and I’ll Be Waiting. After two sold-out shows for 36,000 fans in Dublin and Cork, Ducrot toured North America with Calum Scott and continues to release new music, including his latest hit Can’t Even Hate You.#ADVERT

Ducrot first captivated fans on TikTok with his heartfelt songwriting and performances. He won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year with Heaven and has played numerous high-profile concerts across Europe.

This spring, Ducrot will perform a series of sold-out shows, including two nights at Dublin’s 3Arena and a massive homecoming gig at Cork’s Live at the Marquee on July 19.
