Man Found Dead in Unexplained Circumstances, Mallow, Co. Cork

Gardai In Mallow are investigating the death of a man in his 50s in Unexplained Circumstances, Mallow, Co. Cork on  Thursday 5th January 2023

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted shortly after 7pm, after the body of a man in his 50s was found at the foot of a stairwell in an apartment in Mallow.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has since been removed to Cork University Hospital.

The scene is currently preserved and a post-mortem examination will be carried out by Dr Bolster, Office of the
State Pathologist, tomorrow morning.

Results of the post-mortem will assist Gardaí in determining the course of their investigations.
