The Online Retail Scheme offers up to €25,000 in funding
The Minister of State for Employment Affairs and Retail Business, Neale Richmond TD, today urged retailers in Cork to submit applications for funding that could help them bolster their online presence and increase their online sales. As part of the latest round of the Online Retail Scheme, which is financed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and handled by Enterprise Ireland, retailers can be granted a maximum of €25,000 in funding to improve their e-commerce capabilities.
Minister Richmond highly recommended that businesses take advantage of the Scheme, by stating “Over the past few years, Irish retailers have exhibited their toughness by adapting to changing customer behavior with the help of developing an online presence. This move not only benefits customers in Ireland but also prospective clients worldwide.
