The Irish Government has unveiled its 2023 St Patrick’s Day programme, which aims to promote Ireland overseas. The programme will see Taoiseach Leo Varadkar travel to Washington. Tánaiste Micheál Martin will visit New York and Boston.

Minister for Culture Catherine Martin and Minister for Children Roderic O’Gorman, will be travelling to LA and San Diego, and India and Bangladesh respectively. LA, San Diego, India, Bangladesh and Simon Covney will visit a number of cities in Australia. Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe will visit Germany, while Minister for Finance Michael McGrath will travel to Chicago and Toronto. Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys will take a short trip to London
